Dr. Ronald Schefdore

Dr. Schefdore was one of the first licensed general dentists of Illinois to create the 1 Day "SMILE MAKEOVER" 30 years ago when the materials were first invented. The materials and technologies have improved and Dr. Schefdore still loves the excitement of creating great looking smiles! We just did our 2500th cosmetic case.

Recently we coined the phrase “SUPREME MAKEOVER” and offer this Cinderella experience to our patients. First, 6 -14 teeth in your smile are restored with porcelain or composite to improve the shape/length/color of the smile based on the desires of the patient. Next, the hairstylist and makeup artist can help you with a new hair style and make-up /skin care for the improved total image if desired. 1983 - Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Southern Illinois University

1983 to Present - Post Doctorate classes in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Dentistry

1985 - Implant Certificate Northwestern University

2000 to Present - Provides seminars to dentists and hygienists on how to provide exceptional service and patient
                          comfort, improving the patients' smile and total image , the oral systemic connection -- perform
                          office finger stick blood screening for improved overall patient health, non surgical
                          gum therapy, the future of dentistry.

2001 to Present - Published 50 + articles in major dental magazines. Lecturer to Dentists nationwide on a variety
                          of topics. Developed and teaches dental offices the "natural system to oral and overall

2001 - Invisalign Certification

2003 - Invisalign Certification II

2003 - Authored the book "Better Service Better Dentistry" - for Dentists and their staff

2004 - Chairman of Pharmaden Nutraceuticals (www.pharmaden.net), supplements for oral and overall health.

2005 - Introduced a series of simple blood screening tests to dental offices for the improvement of patients' oral
          and overall health (www.healthyheartdentistry.com)

2006 - Founder and President of Healthy Heart Dentistry(TM) programs to improve the oral and overall health of
          dental patients through blood screening and supplementation.

2006 - Created Healthy Heart Dentistry(TM) programs. This proven program is being taught by. Dr. Schefdore to
          dentists nationally and internationally to improve the oral and overall health of dental patients
